STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Questions before
you hand over the keys?

Here’s what most clients want to know before choosing a service or booking an appointment.

Do I need an appointment?

+

Yes. Booking ahead lets us reserve the right amount of shop time for your vehicle and service.

Can I book online?

+

Yes. Services available through Square can be booked directly from our Book page. For custom work, select Inquire for Quote and tell us about your vehicle and the result you want.

How do I choose the right service?

+

Start with your goal—cleanliness, correction, protection or customization. We’ll recommend the least complicated option that gets you there.

How long will my vehicle take?

+

Exterior services may take about an hour, while interior details and paint correction commonly require several hours. Coatings, wraps, PPF and starlights may require one or more days.

Do you work on daily drivers?

+

Absolutely. We work on daily drivers, family vehicles, luxury cars, exotics, classics, trucks and SUVs.

How should I prepare my vehicle for its appointment?

+

Please remove personal belongings, valuables, child seats and anything you need during the appointment. For interior work, clearing the cabin and cargo area helps us spend more time detailing.

How often should I have my vehicle detailed?

+

For most vehicles, a professional detail every three to six months is a strong starting point. Daily use, children, pets, winter salt, outdoor parking and mileage may call for more frequent care.

What is included in an interior detail?

+

We work methodically through the cabin, including vacuuming, cracks and crevices, plastics, trim, cupholders, vents, glass, mats and accessible upholstery surfaces. The exact treatment depends on your selected package and the vehicle’s condition.

Can you remove every interior stain or odor?

+

We use professional processes to improve staining and odor as much as the material safely allows, but permanent dye transfer, deep contamination, damaged fibers and odors beneath the accessible surfaces cannot always be completely removed.

What is paint decontamination?

+

Paint decontamination removes bonded contamination that normal washing leaves behind. It helps restore a smoother surface and properly prepares the paint for protection or correction.

What is paint correction?

+

Paint correction carefully levels microscopic defects in the clear coat to reduce swirls, haze, oxidation and light scratches. The improvement depends on paint condition, defect depth and safe clear-coat limits.

Will paint correction remove every scratch?

+

No responsible shop should promise that. Defects that are too deep to correct safely are improved as much as possible while preserving the integrity of the clear coat.

What is the difference between wax and ceramic coating?

+

Wax provides shorter-term gloss and protection. A professionally installed ceramic coating bonds to properly prepared surfaces for stronger chemical resistance, easier cleaning and longer-lasting performance.

What is the difference between PPF and ceramic coating?

+

PPF is a physical impact barrier. Ceramic coating improves gloss, chemical resistance and ease of maintenance. They can be combined.

Do you offer interior ceramic coatings?

+

Yes. We offer protection options for fabric, leather and rubber surfaces. We will recommend the right interior coating based on the materials in your vehicle and how the cabin is used.

How do I maintain a ceramic-coated vehicle?

+

Use proper hand-washing methods, pH-appropriate products and clean drying towels. Avoid harsh automatic washes and abrasive chemicals, and schedule maintenance care when the coating needs inspection or decontamination.

What is paint protection film?

+

Paint protection film, or PPF, is a clear protective urethane installed over painted surfaces to help defend against rock chips, road debris, scratches and everyday wear.

Which PPF coverage package should I choose?

+

Partial-front coverage targets the most vulnerable impact zones, full-front coverage protects the complete front end, and track or full-body packages add protection for higher-use vehicles and more painted panels.

Can PPF and ceramic coating be installed together?

+

Yes. PPF handles impact protection while ceramic coating can add slickness, gloss and easier maintenance to the film and uncovered painted surfaces.

What is Colored Paint Protection Film?

+

Colored PPF combines a color-change finish with the protective qualities of paint protection film. It is a strong option for clients who want a dramatic transformation plus added defense against road wear.

What is the difference between vinyl wrap and Colored PPF?

+

Vinyl wrap is primarily selected for color, finish and design flexibility. Colored PPF is a thicker protective film designed to provide a color transformation with greater impact resistance.

Can a vinyl wrap damage my paint?

+

Quality vinyl installed and removed correctly is generally paint-safe on sound factory paint. Existing repaint issues, failing clear coat, rust or body damage must be evaluated before installation.

Do you offer partial wraps and chrome deletes?

+

Yes. In addition to complete color changes, we offer roof and hood wraps, stripes, accents, decals, chrome deletes and other targeted vinyl customization.

Can you wrap business vehicles and fleets?

+

Yes. Our commercial vinyl services include full and partial wraps, spot graphics, lettering, DOT numbers, fleet branding and trailer graphics for businesses throughout Metro Detroit.

What do you need to quote a commercial wrap?

+

Send the vehicle year, make and model, clear photos, the number of vehicles, your logo or brand files, the coverage you have in mind and any required wording. We can then define the design and installation scope.

What is the difference between carbon and ceramic window tint?

+

Carbon film provides privacy, UV protection and a clean non-reflective appearance. Ceramic film is the premium choice because it delivers stronger infrared heat rejection and cabin comfort without requiring a darker shade.

What window-tint shades do you offer?

+

Shade availability can vary by film line and application. We will show you the available visible-light-transmission options so you can compare appearance, privacy and Michigan road-use requirements before choosing.

What warranty comes with automotive window tint?

+

Our automotive window tint includes a two-year warranty. We will explain the coverage and care requirements when you select your film.

Do you tint headlights and taillights?

+

Yes. We offer lighting tint for clients who want a darker, more customized appearance. Film choice and coverage are discussed around the vehicle, desired look and applicable road-use requirements.

Can you install a starlight headliner in my vehicle?

+

Yes. Starlight headliners are designed around the vehicle, headliner size and desired star density, with options such as shooting-star effects available for select builds.

Do you offer custom upholstery?

+

Yes. Upholstery options include professional material dye for an existing surface transformation and full reupholstery for a new material, color pattern or more complete cabin redesign.

What is the difference between dyed and reupholstered seats?

+

Dye changes the color of suitable existing leather or vinyl while retaining the original upholstery. Reupholstery replaces the covering material and allows greater freedom with colors, materials, stitching and panel design.

Do you paint brake calipers?

+

Yes. Caliper painting gives the wheel area a cleaner, more intentional finish. Color, condition, preparation and any custom branding details are confirmed before the project begins.

Do you offer architectural window tint and printed graphics?

+

Yes. We provide architectural tint and printed graphics for homes, offices, storefronts and commercial spaces, including solutions for heat, glare, privacy, decorative design and branding.

Can I combine multiple services into one build?

+

Yes. Many clients combine services such as paint correction and ceramic coating, wrap and tint, PPF and coating, or upholstery and starlights. We can plan the order so the project moves efficiently and finishes cohesively.

Why does custom-service pricing vary?

+

Vehicle size, condition, material selection, coverage, design complexity and preparation can change the scope considerably. A quote lets us price the actual build instead of giving you a misleading one-size-fits-all number.

Do you require a deposit for custom work?

+

Some custom projects require a deposit to reserve shop time, order materials or begin design work. Any deposit and scheduling terms are explained before you approve the project.

What areas do you serve?

+

We are based in Troy and welcome clients from across Metro Detroit, including Birmingham, Rochester Hills, Bloomfield Hills, West Bloomfield, Royal Oak, Sterling Heights, Shelby Township and nearby communities.

Where are you located?

+
